| Before coming to the Dream Center Peru I was working at the Dream Center Los Angeles. My wife Andrea and I were asked to only stay in Peru for a year, but after seeing the great need in Peru we decided to permanently stay here with our two children Elijah and Brittany (who was born here). My background is in missions, and I have had many great opportunities of feeding those in need. I not only work in administration with my wife Andrea, but I am also a pastor and a chef of the television program Abundante, which has opened many doors to promote Christian values to an audience worldwide. I believe that the Dream Center Peru is a place that brings hope to all. Our vision is to help conquer hunger and poverty with the Word of God through initiatives based on faith. |

| I'm from Los Angeles, California and I have been at the Dream Center Peru since November 2006, I was serving in leadership in ministry called B.A.D.D. (Born Again Delivered Disciples) that was there working together with the L.A. Dream Center. God responded to my prayer while I was in discipleship school as an intern to be used by Him for His glory. B.A.D.D. is a ministry that helps people from all lifestyles, from the homeless to drug addicts, convicts to regular Christians that are looking for discipleship training. I never really thought I would be a Missionary, yet, here I am in Peru at the Dream Center Peru already being used to minister to children through Metro Kidz, and also to reach youth through Action House Peru. In allowing God to use me, I have been permitted the opportunity of teaching English classes for the interns and the kids and youth we are ministering too. My prayer now, is to learn everything that I can about ministry. I have a growing a passion to work with kids here in Peru, especially those that suffer from hunger, a lack of discipline and have been abused by friends and relatives. My desire is to help those who think they have no hope, show them love, and see them get the same desire for Jesus that I have. |

| Generally, I am known as Brian Brinkman from the big, green mitten (Michigan). Recently graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.A. in Zoology. Currently occupying a small portion of the Dream Center Peru and helping wherever help is needed. My residence in Peru will continue until August whereupon I will transfer to the Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA. My time here will be spent trading giftings with others and developing skills in coordination, teaching, administration, music, theater, media concepts and discipleship. God has put me here to stretch and learn a new level of trust and commitmet. I looove peanut butter cup ice cream, movies without Richard Gere, books that stimulate my frontal lobe, pirate Lego fortresses, kayaking, la salsa (on the dance floor not on your chips) and dying my hair different colors like dark brown (nobody ever notices). |

I am a middle school math teacher from Michigan taking some time away from the classroom to serve others. During June, July, and August, I look forward to wielding any gifts that God has blessed me with for Dream Center Peru. God has done amazing things through this ministry and I now get to see it first hand! It will be an honor to worship alongside believers of another culture, and I look forward to learning more Spanish! |
