History

Dream Center Peru (DCP) was founded by a mission team sent under the joint collaboration of four organizations: Dream Center of Los Angeles (Pastor Matthew Barnett), Action House (Pastor Clifford Scamara), Metro Kidz International (Pastor Julian Toriz), and the Victory Family Center- Singapore. These organizations also partnered to provide the financial seed needed to run the first year of the DCP’s ministries.

DCP, under the direction of Senior Pastor David Jesson, has grown into a mission center of hope reaching all areas of Peru. Providing an environment charged with faith and practical community development and outreach, the Center is now an example and resource center for hundreds of churches across Peru.

Pastor David Jesson comes to Peru with a strong mission’s background and a great deal of experience in street and relationship evangelism. His own personal experience in feeding millions of people through evangelical feeding programs has greatly helped the Center’s results.

Before being called to Peru, Pastor David was on staff at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. His understanding of community development combined with evangelism has allowed the construction of a strong foundation based on God’s word.

Pastor David and his wife Andrea, live as permanent residents of Peru. They, along with their children Elijah, and Brittany, are actively following the vision that God continues to give them at the Dream Center Peru.

DCP continues to grow in size and influence every year, making new connections and relationships with more and more Peruvian based groups and organizations. In January of 2006 a new church was planted in the mountains of Chugay, La Libertad. Chugay International Church continues to grow weekly and is already making an impact in its small community.

DCP is also reaching people all over the world through the television program Abundante, More Than a Cooking Show.
